1957 GIBSON *ES 225 BEAUTIFUL BLONDE*.

A very nice example of a 1957 Gibson ES 225 with original case.

1957 Gibson es 225 first year of production, in fantastic rare blonde finish.Comes with original croc. skin case which is in good / very good condition.

The guitar plays great with a low action and minimal fretwear, this guitar has hardly been played, very rare to find in this condition.

Gibson logo inlaid with mother of pearl, single line Kluson tuners, adorn the Brazilian mahogany one piece neck which has a very comfortable ” u ” shape. The Brazilian rosewood fingerboard is very dark almost ebony in colour.

The f.o.n. number ( factory order number) reads U389-35, 1957. The single P90 pickup offers the usual punchy sounds with a single tone and volume control.

The wraparound bridge / tailpiece works well and is the same unit used on the very first Les Paul models, picture 11 although slightly out of focus reads ” PATENT APPLIED FOR”. A very nice outfit which will only appreciate in value in years to come especially in this colour. Any questions please ask.

This guitar ships Worldwide and will be packed professionally
