The home of Gibson electric guitars today is ‘Gibson USA’, built in Nashville in 1974. As well as Nashville, Gibson also produce semi-acoustics in Memphis and acoustic guitars in Montana.

Today’s Gibson electric guitars represent the history as well as the future of the electric guitar. The models whose designs have become classics- the ES-175, ES-335, Flying V, Explorer, Firebird, SGs and Les Pauls- are a testament to Gibson’s wide appeal, spanning more than four decades of music styles.

The Tom DeLonge Signature starts with Gibson’s classic semi-hollowbody design and then jams it into overdrive with an overwound ‘Dirty Fingers’ humbucking pickup. Its thick, distorted tone is the signature sound of So-Cal punk rock. Tom DeLonge’s engaging guitar riffs have hooked millions of rock fans into the energetic, irreverent music of blink-182. Tom DeLonge’s Gibson signature model serves up the sound—and the attitude—for all of his music.
